She joined The Zanzibar Institute of Financial Administration (ZIFA) to further her studies, obtaining a Certificate of Statistics. Her dedication to academic excellence then led her to pursue an Advanced Diploma in Public Administration at the Institute of Development Management (IDM) in Mzumbe, Morogoro from 1983 to 1986.




Additionally, In 1987, she received training at the National Institute of Public Administration in Lahore, Pakistan. In 1991, she attended the Eastern and Southern African Management Institute (ESAMI). Also, she undertook a Management Course at the Institute of Management for Leaders in Hyderabad, India. Furthermore, from 1992 to 1994, she pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Economics at the University of Manchester in London. Her academic journey reached its zenith with a Master's Degree in Community Economic Development, achieved through a joint program between the Open University of Tanzania and Southern New Hampshire University, USA.
